This is my first Emerald theme. It is based on the theme Utilitarian Smoke by euxneks, although just for the window buttons. I recommend to use it with dark gtk controls (I use it with Cillop-midnite). I have placed the buttons on the left, as it is expected to be the default behaviour for Ubuntu 10.04 and further. Enjoy!
(edit:) By the way, if you want Ubuntu Lucid to load Emerald with Compiz at boot, you have to edit with de gconf-editor the key /apps/compiz/plugins/decoration/allscreens/options/command and set it to "emerald --replace" (without quote marks). Otherwise, it loads gtk-window-decorator instead. For some strange reason, I also have to force loading of compiz at startup creating a command called "compiz --replace" at Preferences->Start Up Applications (or whatever it is called in English, I can't remember)
