I LinuxMint 17 MATE, VLC with your skin simply disappears from the panel. In minimized state it hangs like an invisible unknown place.

Unfortunately I have no possibility to test it. Does anyone even acknowledges the existence of this problem? I suppose it's a problem of the application.

Hey there,

I noticed what looks like a bug. If I have the VLC window on my right monitor and select full screen, the window will shift to my left monitor and maximise on the wrong side. I

I assume this is due to my left monitor being listed as the "main" one but even so - I do not experience this problem with the native skin.

After testing, I must say that unfortunately it is a problem of the application. Reference point for me was the "native" skin called "Default".

Thank you for your comment.

I love this skin, it´s great.
If you take requests, adding to the media library: podcast, search bar and icon/cover view, that would make it the perfect skin for me.

Anyways, great job!

Unfortunately, the engine does not support managing of these elements.

I never knew the meaning of the word perfection until I used this skin. Wow man great work. This should honestly be the native skin for Windows. But it looks good on linux too.

Great work, i feel like my past years have been wasted for I did not have this skin on desktop. I reckon this skin will be an instant success. You should be awarded a design award or something like that. Awesome!

Unfortunately I can’t use it on Ubuntu with Unity desktop because it does not maximize properly, the top universal menu bar of Unity is still shown when vlc is in fullscreen mode and the lower part of the skin where the video control buttons are located is offscreen.

Not having installed Ubuntu I have to rely only on the information of users, so I have to ask. Are you able to cite the name of the skin where it works properly? I will compare on the technical side and see what the problem is.

I tried other vlc skins and to my surprise they all behave the same so perhaps that's nothing wrong with your theme and there's something with my settings on Ubuntu 15.04.

I checked it myself, and apparently that problems are not due to the wrong Ubuntu settings. VLC does not include additional panels when calculates the size of usable space - hence the problem.

It is not possible to program skin to permanently solve this problem. If the size of the panels were static ... it would be a way, but in this case we have to leave it for the VLC developers.
