"Because humans need Oxygen."
A new effort to create a set of icons mixing the modern style of KDEs "Oxygen" icons with Ubuntu's "Human" set.
This icon set has been crafted by the Ubuntu Artwork community and therefor has Ubuntu in mind for it's intended use.
Breathe inherits Human then GNOME. This will account for it's somewhat disjointed look at times. As expected, icons will be replaced as development continues.
For comprehensive info including how to get involved please see the "Homepage" link.
An Ubuntu PPA containing packages for Hardy, Intrepid, and Jaunty can be found here:

These icons are simply too blurry, like any other oxygen variations or MAX OS X or other icons....
Making 1000 or more icons doesn't mean anything if all sizes are not nice, clean and SHARP..

If you want to see what he means check his icons, Elementary.

He is meaning the svg-bug with blured shadows and some moved or missing objects in the hyper-real svg-icons (present in KDE and Gnome -- libsvg) plus the slight handcraft-work in the small sizes. But this, I am sure, will find with time his right way and final decisions ... ;)
