Description:

This iconset won't ever have a massive modification.
All the work I am doing on it right now is just trying to push it to perfection, making small changes release after release [you can see what's happening in the changelog below], so please feel free to report any bug you experience, but first of all ensure you've read the instructions file ;)

Now.. the description can begin...


At first I collaborated with crhispy, releasing different coloured versions of his worderful port "Oxygen-Refit".
Now I decided to create a fork of his porting, integrating some icons I caught around the web, and some others I edited/created by myself.

Please feel free to report and bug within the comments.

A great big thank for you all.

UPDATE

Archlinux users can install this iconset from the AUR repository, just typing:

yaourt -S hydroxygen-iconset

Hydroxygen are also have been included within the GNU/Linux Paldo official repos.

Hello, I want this icon themes, but I can't install in my Ubuntu. I use Ubuntu 8.10, I write the commands in the terminal window but it doesn't happen any.
For example:
username@your-pc:~$ cd ~/Desktop/hydroxygen

username@your-pc:~$ ./change-type.sh naviwhite

I apply this commands and it doesn't produces any error in the terminal window and it doesn't change any icon folder.
Why???

PD: I also tried to install for the the icon of firefox, but it doesn't happen any.

Hi,
as you know Debian has renamed firefox in icewesel for license issues.
Please could you set firefox icons available also for iceweasel in hydroxygen?

Sorry for misnderstanding.. I thought you wanted an IceWeasel icon instead of a Firefox one.

I guess it's quitely hard to make all the firefox icons available also for iceweasel.
I should hardly change the script to set it to change the firefox and iceweasel icons at the same time.
It requires too much time for me now, but maybe in the future I'll do it... maybe ;)

Look into "apps" folders... there is and icon "iceweasel.png" with iceweasel logo ;)

Into Applications > Internet the Iceweasel icon does not appear?

Alright.. as soon as I'll update, I'll remove the IceWeasel link to Firefox icon and put a dedicated IceWeasel one ;)

The script to change folder colour seems to not work :(

Tried to change the colour to any shade of blue/aqua without luck....

Any ideas?

There seems to be a problem with the newly added network01 icon. Here is the terminal output. Thanks for adding this new icon by the way--I much prefer it to the green one.

I have now uploaded the revisited version with this bug corrected.
The script had the wrong instruction [categoriess.
Now it's corrected... ;)

This icon theme grows bigger and bigger. I don't like new minimal buttons. One navigation buttons in many colour versions is enough for one iconset.
Besides, there is still a lot of possible application icons to include.
I advise You to make a new set with your new belowed navigation buttons, and don't put it here :P

I agree that naviminimal is not tuned with the rest of the iconset, but one user told me to suit his needs with something like that.
If you don't like them, you are not forced to use them. Do they really take up space? I don't think the 60+MB are related to them ;)

Only about the AdobeReader-Bug. You put "adobereader8.png" and not "AdobeReader8.png". The last will kill finally the Bug ;) And a Link is better than a copied Icon. It will save some kilobytes :)
Wireless isn't tested yet, but I saw it in your sources. Think it will be nice ;)
Why in /apps/gnome-session-logout.png is a X without picture, but my choosen logout-white (script)works? Very interesting ?! :)

I'll change adobe capital letters i the next release ;)
I removed some gnome-logout duplicates.. the links with the X are created from the script. I'll fix it, thanks :)

The Cloudy icon shows the Sun even at night. That seems weird.
