Maybe you should put it it on Git. By the way, I find that MediaFire place rather dirty and resource hungry. You won't make me go backwards in time but splendid job nonetheless. I'll keep this too.
Story of my life. I get everything when I've already given it up. Once I wanted this so badly. Still find it awesome. Maybe we'll ask in the creator of W10 splash for a W7 splash, although he says W7 splash is much more difficult. Just rambling. Maybe it's like a vacation to 7Land.

thanks for your work, but do you really want to do it with so much sums?

also, may I suggest compiling all the sums in one post or in a pastebin page? Just for a cleaner view.

As far as I know, transparency for window borders isn't (yet) possible in Cinnamon. This is however probability the closest I'll ever see. Still think W10 is the way to go but this 7 is a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

older systems before cinnamon/mate where transparent too. now only compiz or compton +pekwm which is incompatible with cinnamon. not impossible that bumpmaps and full rgba support might be in cinnamon in future.

Actually it's metacity who needs an update to support that. But their philosophy is to keep it simple, so I don't expect they'll ever integrate rgba.
