I'm totally in agreement with this! Vista (a stupid name for Windows to begin with) won't offer anything not already availabe in Linux & the Mac. Certainly won't be worth a couple hundred bucks for an upgrade. Oops, try again Bill...

I have to agree as well.

I was invited by a friend, who's company has a beta version of Vista (latest I think), to see it in action. On the long drive over, he said those who are predicting a mass exodus from windows to other OSes, are correct. Vista is going to bomb for many obvious reason. The first being, it isn't really a new OS, just another revamp of server 03.

When they finally got Vista to boot into a desktop, all I could think was "This is Barbie" all looks (lots of plastic), no guts and VERY expensive.
