Some wallpaper I just found on my HDD which I made ages ago trying out GIMP brushes off deviant art.

Cant find the original XCF unfortunatly.

Its very 3-dimensional. And you used the Gimp brushes really effectively. There are lots of ideas here that (apologies) I think I'm gonna copy...at least I'll try to.

Did you make any custom brushes? I mean, several of the swirls have glare effects extending far beyond the swirl that make each swirl just iridesce.

It reminds me of "hot ice and wondrous strange snow..." from A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I didnt make the GIMP brush I got it from here http://project-gimpbc.deviantart.com/art/Axeraider70-Winter-Breeze-48660965

If you want to copy my design as it is sure its Public Domain or make your own using those brushes.

I so wish there was a 1280x1024 version of this.. It looks so amazingly nice.
