Aug 22: In case any of you are interested, I have made the GIMP *.xcf file available. It includes the three color backgrounds as layers, so if you're exporting, don't forget to have the right color in the right place! Also, you can send me any changes you've made as I'd be interested to see them.

thanks to all those people who've downloaded my wallpaper!
it's only been up a couple of hours and already there've been 65 downloads
if anyone who liked it would like to post some comments (or even people who didnt, for that matter) on how it could be improved, or even improve it themselves and send me the changed *.xcf, feel free!
I'd also like to add a thanks to the developer(s) of the nuoveXT 2 icon pack and to, of course, firefox - "the browser, reloaded"

It's very well done already, but if you want to improve, I would tell you to put versions with softier background colors - try the colors from the TANGO pallete:
