makes it specific only to you. I wouldn't put personal logos on wallpapers for general use. For you own personal wallpaper, your own logo is fine. But offer it without your logo for others.

I suspect this isn't your personal logo, but the logo of some organization. But the same prinicipal applies.

I fact it is the logo of an organization. This is the "SNO" logo (SNO means sciencesnat.org).
If you like it without logo, just do what someone said: "you should be able to emulate this with a **very** small tileable wallpaper with just the stripes, then add a gradient to your background, and play around with the blending in the "advanced" tab, it should load a lot faster, and not eat gobs of hd space..."

ugh, 80s flashback... still, whatever floats your boat.
