I like it. There is a wrong metacity theme. Are you gonna do a metacity theme to match the theme ? :D

No. I don't have time... and I'm lazy...
but you can make it from emerald theme if you want...

..but I just can't. There are such extremely good moments, but they are just ruined by the one that are the exact opposite.

The hover-buttons, the strangely non-symmetrical rounded things here and there.. It just doesn't work, and it simply ruins the rest of the theme completely.

First off - the wallpaper is really nice. Would you be able to provide a link for it? :)

Secondly, I'm not too keen on the translucent part of the scrollbars. I think a solid one would make things better.

This is a really nice original concept, one thing i would say is keep the emerald them with the same pattern not just an orange color and see how that looks.
