Murrina Haikuish
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
Inspired by the BeOS and Haiku operating systems (as well as other retro UIs).
There is an alternate color scheme based on GTK's fallback theme that can be uncommented in the gtkrc; it offers more contrast.
GTK+ based on the murrine launchpad theme (version 0.5) & my own Murrina Dreadful. Requires a newish version the murrine engine.
Use whatever window decoration you like.
The screenshot shows the Dark metacity from Pucko Lucid: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Pucko+Lucid?content=123265
The following two themes contain BeOS/Haiku-style window decorations:

Could you please be specific about whether you've changed the values or whether the theme has a problem "out of the box"?
The Murrine engine has had quite a few changes over the last year and I'm not actually sure if this theme works particularly well any more.
I have re-written it so that it works on most recent versions, and I hope to polish it a bit more and publish it soon.
In the mean time, answer my first question and we can go from there.

Try "comboboxstyle = 1" inside the engine block in the default definition.
