This theme is based somewhat on the Human Impression theme. Miu is a grey and brushed copper based colorscheme. The theme is meant to be easy on the eyes refraining from glaringly deep colors. A subtle hint of warmth can be felt retaining much of the "Human" feel. Metacity theme is based on the CLASSIC / Edge theme redone by lucazade.

I always did it using ubuntu tweak, but with intrepid it doesn't work =S
Ah... and how to deactivate trasparency in other apps like terminal and emesene? =P
Thanks! =D

It would be better with smaller buttons and a borderless metacity theme =)
I'd also suggest to bold the text in panel (as i did modifing gtkrc) and change font color... but you already did it! =P
Keep up the good work! ;)

If you're using XFCE, see here for an XFWM version of the metacity : http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.php?content=99823

But when I change the bg color, It also turn the text color of the tabs into green... You can improve it here I think.
Moreover the metacity isn't very beautiful to my mind, try the dust sand or something more "original".
I've nothing to say about the rest, It's just perfect and smart.
Congratulations ;).
(sorry for my english :))

For a new theme, it is really good, it looks very consistent. The only issue I found was in firefox's adressbar.
Anyway, I would like to propose something. I could imagine this theme very well with black panels (like Aurora Elegant) and lighter menus.

That should be fixed in 3.1.
BTW, nice mod. I like it. I'm still testing some other ideas, but trying yo keep it relatively sane and funtional for Jaunty.

Now your latest release made my mod almost useless, apart from the flat menus they are quite similar.
I guess, I will make a version without orange text, unless you have no plans for this yourself. This theme works really well with different background colours.
Keep up the good work, It is one of the best, not only good looking, but good to work with for a longer time, too.

Thanks for the compliments as this is becoming very usuable for me as well.
I can release a lighter version later on, but most people seem to like the darker panel, including myself.

Anyway, I like light silvery themes (still with black panel), and right now this is not possible.
I already tried to change this, but accidentally my text is now white instead of dark gray as I wanted it. I guess I will need to have a closer look on how you mix colors here.

I'm working on some fixes at the moment which impact the gtk color selector. I noticed that issue and the only way around it atm is to lock the theme and I do not want to do that.
I'm making the theme a bit lighter and choosing a dark insensitive text color. The darker orange looks good, but overall I think standard black will sustain better compatibility.

Yeah your ideas are good but I like the simple panel already present. Perhaps some dust or transparent effects would be welcome.
