Description:

Hello !

Sugar is sweet, as this theme (hopefully) !

Enough of bad joke, this theme is meant to be very clean and nice. Good for both professional and personal use I think.

It includes a dark menu version you can choose from Controls customization.

It is sensitive to color changes so you can customize it to your liking.
It comes with 5 sets of predefined colors : Blue (Sugar), Gray (SugarGrey), Green (SugarGreen), Orange (SugarOrange) and Brown (SugarUbuntu)

Sets use the great Gion Icon Theme. You can find it here : http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Gi%C3%B8n?content=36944
Ubuntu and Orange sets use the [strike]Human Icon Theme[/strike] ubuntu-mono-dark that comes with Ubuntu.

Feedbacks and bug reports appreciated !!!

Don't forget to vote if you like it.

It's not that hard if you actually read up on what you have to change. Its actually really easy.

thanks for the reply. You are right. It is fairly easy to edit but what I meant, this theme is e.g. automatically on xfce-look.

People might expect from looking at the screenshots, that those gnome-color set themes are available for them ootb as well.(Some were with 1.0 btw;-))

Never mind. Good theme!

Thank you very much. I tried to do something similar using the index.theme but not only was the gtk color variable a different name, it was formatted differently. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting to create such a great theme and make it easier for those of us not necessarily using the gnome session manager. I've put this down as a like and am looking forward to your update.

This theme is awesome! its been my default theme for a couple months now. Will you keep updating it? It would be great if the Dark Menus version also painted the toolbars in black, kind of like Dust on Nautilus does. Keep up the good work!

I created this xfwm to match the colors a bit. It's not perfect, but I hope you like it.

Looks great with the Humanity icon theme :)

Request I have:
1. Remove the color from the tabs and, or atleast give me a hint how I can disable it, or change the color to same as selected background for the menus.
2. Make menu selection size where thers no icon equal to the the selection size in menus with icons, or help me figure out how to do this :)

Is there an option to put the title of the window in the center of the title bar?
I'm used to it being in the middle, and now it feels weird having it on the left.

i dont know why this themes rating is only 69%... its excellent! should be included in the next release of ubuntu... if Dust could make it into jaunty then this should be able to make it into karmic

Great theme, but I don't understand how I can make it look like your screenshots of SU. The controls are blue, not brown. Could you help? Thanks!

Look my comment above

Quote:If you installed it correctly you should have all sets of colors in your theme list : http://yfrog.com/3nsugarthemesp

That might be the case in Gnome, but in Xfce it isn not that easy! I rewrote the index.theme and the gtkrc to have the settings of SugarUbuntu and it works now. Again, fantastic theme and hoping that someday a xfwm for this theme will be made. Thanks!
