well i'm not using XGL nor AIGLX since my GPU is kinda lame (Mobility 7500)

the thing is that some time ago i did managed to get this engine to run on an opensuse 10.1 OS but i had to replace my HD since it died...

i never got it working again since...

:(

btw, this problem is not a murrine only bug, it's the same with every GTK 2 engine i try to install...

say.. does it require Xorg 7.1 or something?

btw, i compiled it from source.
and please reply as soon as possible because it's not possible to properly use my computer anymore.
you should have included uninstall instructions in download file.

Check the makefile for where things got installed to, then remove them via however you normally remove files. You can also just... not use that engine, unless this is actually affecting everything regardless of what engine you're using.

Report

bvc

an engine install should not slow the system. This is the second time I've heard this about this, so it does make me wonder what is happening. I think the engine is registered when gnome loads, but I can't see why there would be a slow down because of registration alone.

uninstall in the top source dir with;
make uninstall
