I havn't heard much about Slicker yet, and Kicker is still the moste important "application" for me.
I want to show you my Kicker configuration and how it could be improved to support my needs.
I like to have all vertical space so I placed a collection of kicker panels on my right desktop side.
I had to separate it into 4 Panels:
on the top right side: a 100 Pixel wide panel with 30% height. It contains the Main Menu Icon, the clock (analog and digital) and the system tray.
on the bottom right side: a 100 pixel wide panel with 30% height. It contains the task/window bar and system monitor
in the middle middle right side: two 50 pixel wide panels with 40% height. It contains icons and sub menues.
Because of positioning limits of Kicker I can't give the upper and lower part different heights :(

for the positions, you knew when you added centered and corners we'd ask for more. should have just made it so we could pinpoint exact starting point like you do with the length.

you made a clock which is around 300 pixel height ???!?!??!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!
wtf ?
you only need the time at a very small space and no 300 pixel mega clock. roffel on the floor

I want more space for the taskbar but until now I am not able to shrink the above panel for the bottom one. Kicker doesn't allow that :-( So there is anough space left for a huge analog clock.

it's impossible to have 2 panels like you did in the middle and to have them auto hide, as they then will overlap each other.
The only way I managed to have something usable was to mix a panel and a kasbar, with different auto-hiding times and sizes so i can have them appear at the same place, but one retract very soon, so it doesnt stay in the way of the other if I dont need it.
Not very handy.
