On-Desktop-Terminal
Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
This script calls the "kstart" application to start a terminal
which is borderless and transparent at a choosen position
of your desktop. This terminal has no entry in the taskbar
and runs like a daemon.
In this version the standart terminal is "Eterm"
because aterm's "borderless" and "transparency" options
seems don't working in some builds(e.g. SuSE).
The optimizing of the script is really easy.
You only have to change the geometries, colors and some other stuff.

v.0.11 - script is working (hmm...aterm *grr*)
v.0.2 - Eterm is now the default terminal. I hope now all is working good ;)

aterm: bad option "-bl"
it doesn't work :)
and with the options -sl 1000 -sl 2000 there's everything black :)

if you type aterm -help or --help
can you find a "borderLess" or "-/+bl" option anywhere?
"-/+bl turn on/off no decoration"
or
"borderLess: boolean"
i can't imagine lol ^^

i installied the rpm-packege on a suse 9.1. And I'm shure, there is no +/-bl - option :)

This is fatal for your problem XD
hmm - make sure you have aterm version 0.4.2 installed ;)
In next version(0.2) there will be an Eterm exaple too.
