nokompmgr
Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
SHORT:
This is simple script to disable composite manager while launching some applications (OpenGL mainly). May be useful for nvidia driver users.
LONG:
When you are using such eye candy like true transparency, windows shadows with nvidia driver you will early notice that many applications especially 3d ones have buggy display. That is because nvidia driver doesn't work well with both composite and glx extensions. To avoid bugs you need disable composite effects before launching those applications and this script will do it automaticly.
INSTALL (for those 'newbies'):
save as /usr/bin/nokompmgr and make it executable. Now update shortcuts and menuitems by adding "nokompmgr" before command like "nokompmgr et"

kde-config: WARNING: KLocale: trying to look up "" in catalog. Fix the program
and then while running superkaramba ALL
kompmgr is disabled, it re-enables when I
