Don't know if it helps. This happens on my two main systems, and it's at least some kind of output.

hey guys,

A user today reported he had a problem with getting kio-sysinfo running.

He patched the following into src/sysinfo.cpp:

if (dbus_error_is_set(&error))
+dbus_error_free(&error);
di.total = 0;
}

and it worked.

I still can't confirm or test this, since i'm still crashing with the "protocol died unexpectedly" error i always had on any of my core 2 duo systems with nvidia cards (i bet one of those causes trouble ;)), and i won't get any debug output, not even with --enable-debug=full

I didn't both building a deb and just took the default paths that came with the source.

Built just fine and installed.

One caveat: I've got a Pentium D940 and since it uses the AMD kernel it's showing an AMD icon.

I think if you test a bit further on the Genuine Pentium a nice Intel Pentium D Icon would finish off this excellent Slave.

I have a question, is the blue border line to the far right of all disks meant to be there? as personally i think it looks allot better when its hugged to the end of the disk usage bar.

For anybody else who feels this way you can change it by moving the 'border-right' and 'border-left' properties from the 'bar' class to the classes div target (section directly below it)

Great work anyway, i hope openSUSE include this in their upcoming 10.3

Hello

It shows now that i have a cpu with 2 cores but it only shows the speed of one. They do not have to have the same speed.

So please could it be possible to show the speed of both (or even more) cores if they are available.

Mandriva rpm can help you.
The rpm is for 2007.1 version but it can be run on 2007.

Have you installed the aditional libhd13 libraries?
You can download it from here:
http://www.latuberia.net/rpms/libhd13-dev-13.4-2.mdv2007.1.i386.rpm

Or you can do this as root:
urpmi.addmedia --update --wget gejo_repo http://www.latuberia.net/rpms/ with ./hdlist.cz

and then: urpmi kio-sysinfo

Bye.
