What Tux should look like

Why isn't this Tux used more often? It's definitely cuter and easier on the eyes than the other two popular Tux (the overweight smirking one, and the pointy cross-eyed one)

Have you ever read why Tux looks like he does?
http://www.sjbaker.org/wiki/index.php?title=The_History_of_Tux_the_Linux_Penguin#Beginnings
I am aware that a penguin was used so that it could be modified and remain recognisable, but I don't think that you ever could replace Tux. You can make different versions, but you can never replace him.

The official Tux himself doesn't look like a razor-wit, either, but he looks a bit more "for serious", for lack of a better term. Then again, there are limits to how serious you can be with a cartoon. :P
Personally I'd be in favour of a more devious, clever penguin, like the one from that Wallace & Gromit movie... but that's just me.

this tux thing isn't anything I have ever
thought of before this post showed...
Now when it comes to mind I too think we
need a very evil tux that looks like he is
gonna "kill bill" ;D
Anyway, the first time I saw the cross-eyed
one I just couldn't stop laughing.... so I'm
perfectly okey with that too :D
chill!

Not an 'official' tux replacement though. Face it, we're stuck with the other one. There is no good way to uproot such a crucial part of the community so many years after it was made.
