I removed all the Xmms/Noatun code and instead put CPU and Memory usage monitors.
I also changed the white/orange KDE icon with a blue gear-style icon.
Also changed were the buttons along the bottom. I cut out the logout button, left the home and konqueror buttons, and added a button for konsole. I also tweaked the fonts a bit.
Everything has a blue/grey/white overall color scheme. So it'll be fairly neutral in whatever theme you're using.

The terminal emulator is called kuake. it sits as a thin bar on the top of the screen until you hit a hot-key, then it drops down like the console in Quake. You can find that at
