Thank you very much but I have one question. I use the same qss-file you posted in your content about domino tabs in dolphin. But mine looks different.

Here is a screenshot: http://yfrog.com/2mbildschirmfoto1op

The marked areas look different to yours. I use your bespin and color scheme and also your qss-file from the domino dolphin content. How can I make it look like yours?

Best regards!

ok, sorry:
the plain background mode isn't catched (makes things faster by bypasing background painting, thus any shadows...)

set it to scanlines or a gradient or glas, i'm gonna see how to catch this

just to ensure: you need to kill _all_ dolphin processes (even stuff in the bg w/o UI) in order to apply updates (it's a KUnique application, starting it will only open a new window in doubt, not launch a new proc, therefore not reload libs)

Wow, this looks so nice, but why isn't it working here? I have the snapshot 1052 from bespin svn. Can you post your bespin-config please?

Best regards!

please check rev. 1052 - it has some new changes around ARGB/compositing as well (should be safe, but might cause visual glitches on popups... or antialias rounded corners ;-)

Ok tried it and here is a screenshot of it:

I think it changed a bit and it looks better now! Thank you for your work!

you mean because of the disaligned dockareas?
please try the latest revision, i ... tried... to address some issues.

If you want general tabbing, i reccomand to try statcking two of the docks (e.g folders/places or places/info - depends on you usecase) in a tab on the (upper) left or right area - there will still be a break across the splitter though :-(

I think there is a missunderstood... Please look at this screenshot:

http://yfrog.com/ebbildschirmfoto2fp

I hope you understand my problem. The edge from the menu-bar looks not so good in dolphin. In other apps it looks better, because there is a tab-bar below the menu-bar and then you habe this hard-edge. Any ideas how I can make it look better in dolphin? I know its a small problem and theme-based, so its not a big deal...(BTW: I love bespin. Thanks for making it better every time!)

Best regards!

try setting the tab gradient to "none" (flat) and both color roles to window - this will not provide you the exact same look, but quite different from the default.

Mmmhh... I already have this settings. I tried a few other things, but I found no good solution to fix these "edges" in dolphin. But thank you for your ideas!

In short: you cant.

the css code on that side is only for
the tabs.

I have loaded a png as a bg that streches
over the whole main window.... ...so if
I for example change the font size of change
the font,
the bar that you see under the pathbar
will be missplaced etc, because different
fonts have different padding.

should not be necessary (but UNO is, don't check "sunken - what you now cannot do anymore when invoking the title and effectively never could)

to ensure you got the proper rev, ensure there's a function "drawTitleShadow()" in window.cpp
