Description:

Menu Icons for the Gaia Project;
http://gaia.customize.org/

I couldn't find any menu icons for the Gaia theme, so I created them myself.

To install the icons;

1. Press Alt+F2
2. Type; gconf-editor and run
3. Select; apps -> panel -> objects -> menu_bar_screen
4. In the right screen change the value behind object-type into; menu-object.
5. Check; use_custom_icon
6. Insert as value for custom_icon the directory where your icon is located.

Finished! Enjoy your Gaia desktop.

Can you help me install these, I did what you said and they don't show up. I am using a theme of black and white but I really like these icons. Please help me.
I am on a Fedora system. Also the folder which I kept them in is on my desktop and they are both .png files.

Thanks

Hi,

Please let me know if you got stuck somewhere. Or did you follow al the steps without problems, but the icon didn't show up?
