I know, I know.... WHY? Well, there's a reason:
My new Linux server blew its Mo-Bo, so I installed SuSE 7.3 on one of our NT workstations and mounted the old HDD to keep us running while the people RMA'd the part.
Some of my co-workers freaked out. "Where's the "Start" button?!?!" "Why is Explorer NOT installed?!?!?"
So, I installed the XP theme by stephanelassalvy to keep people from freaking out. Well, they did anyway. (Apparently none of my co-workers had seen XP yet.)
So, I installed the extremely underrated Windows 2000 theme and icon set by asifalirizwaan. I haven't heard any complaints since, but I still thought a good Windows-like splash screen might keep people happy, so that's what this is.
Anyway, enjoy, improve, GPL, etc.

really, I'm so tired of seeing windows ripoff, even with a nice little introduction... And so disappointed to see great pieces of artwork disappear without a comment...
Why, why am I alone on this site to notice such details ? :/

I believe X prefers to be called
Just simply: 'X' or 'X Window System'
but I am not sure, I know I just
got yelled at once on a mailing list for referring to it as 'X Windows' ...

LoL
I hate all this Windows XP shit though. Seriousely, if I wanted my KDE to look like that, I'd run that.
Not to mention, kde-look.org should be more around pushing the design and look of KDE, not trying to mimic the rest of the world's OS's.

Then don't download it, don't install it, just move on.
