My only issue is that the menu is almost unbearably slow to do anything (open, close, start an application, whatever). My guess is because it's written in Python, but I'm not ruling everything else out. I really want to love this, but the slowness just kills it for me.

This is my problem: http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/6348/capturn001002.png

I am using Gnomenu 1.9. I was OAFIID problem, but I solved it removing ~/gconf/app/gnomenu/

Later, I can running Gnomenu and all work perfectly but I am this issue: The panel icon background isn't transparent. It's white.

Please FIX it!!!!

When you roll over the options of the right pane the icon changing effect is not as smooth as it was in 1.6. Maybe that can be fixed?

Hi guys.
I've installed Gnomenu 1.8.
I'm running it in xfce using XfApplet.
It works fine...but I've one only problem: if I click on one of the buttons in the right side of the menu (Documents, Computer, Pictures, Videos, Search, etc.), the system logged me out from my xfce session, and go back to the login screen.
How can I fix this?
I hope that someone could help me!
Thanks ;)

Hey guys!
First off, Whise - GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!
But... I have a problem. I can't scroll! Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? I try to scroll using my touchpad and it doesn't move. Therefore, I need to search for something in order to get back to the main menu! Please help! If I need to file a bug report, I will. I just want to make sure it's a bug before I report it as such. Thanks!

It has a great look, plus I liked the way it is, bigger than the panel size. I don't know how to make that icon to look that way though. I just want it to look exactly the way its on the first screenshot, is it possible on Ubuntu 8.10?

Any help will be appreciated!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks!

I've installed it before, now I'm having trouble. I read the readme and typed in the terminal the sudo make install, and I was able to install the deb package. Now what?

I get this in the terminal:

mtgap@mtgap-desktop:~$ sudo make install
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

Judging from your post, it seems you typed the command right after you opened the terminal. You would have to invoke the command after moving to the specific directory first.

cd <path to gnomenu folder/package>
sudo make install

Hope this helps.
