I like the idea to place a human figure into the KDE-gear kinda rising out of it. While the gear can be interpreted as hint that KDE is technically reliable the human shape could be seen as symbol for easy interactivity between user and KDE.

Maybe KDE-guys should consider making something official out of that idea.
