Try to locate the one which has a share/apps subdirectory which contains a bunch of folders named after KDE apps.

Popular KDE dirs are /usr and /opt/kde. If you use Gentoo Linux, then your kde dir should be /usr/kde/<version>.

I tried opt/kde3 and it did put the themrc file in the themes folder, but it dosnt show up in the theme selection. I also tried /home/usr/.kde which also has an apps/theme folder (or something like that) but that dosnt work either.
Has anyone installed this wonderfull theme under Mandrake 9.1?

alloy.themerc should go in ${KDEDIR}/share/apps/kstyle/themes and alloy.la and alloy.so both go in ${KDEDIR}/lib/kde3/plugins/styles.

That works for my setup, but I use Gentoo, not Mandrake

Where can I get Lighthouse Blue? It's not available on themes.freshmeat.net.

Does anybody has a screenshot?

i love this style... more clear then keramik but a nice fresh look, too.

- could you make the padding of the buttons bigger... the text seems to be to near to the border

- is it possible to colourize the menubar in an other scheme compared to the toolbars?

- If I open Konq I have 3 toolbars. Is it possible to detect if the a more then one and then stretch the grandient over all existing bars... without the menubar? And only split the bars with a light line. Could you understand?

Button size is now on my TODO :)

Could you please explain further what you mean by colourize the menu bar in another scheme?

About stretching the gradient over several toolbars, AFAIK noone has yet figured out how to do it cleanly.

mhh, not so easy to describe... revert the grandient for example. Or darken the colours a bit. So that there is a more visual help to clearly seperate menubar and toolbar.

About button padding, you can modify it by editing line 1720 of file alloy/alloy.cpp

It worked...I suggested 8...
Bye!
