FreeMind (http://freemind.sourceforge.net) is a free mind-mapping software written in Java.
I have disliked the standard icon that comes with Freemind almost forever. It looks, say, retro. Like from an old 16bit Desktop from ages ago.
Since I've had to do some logotype work with Inkscape a few months ago, it was this morning that I decided that I couldn't take it no more.
So here you go with a little sketch of a nice scalable and kinda glassy (how silly, I know) Freemind butterfly.
Please do also regard the Freemind document Icon I've uploaded on this website.
(I've attached the SVG-Version so you can use it as you like. Since KDE/Kicker does not do the opacity of the glassy overlays well, just use the screenshot (PNG) as the App Icon or export it from Inkscape as you like)
P.S.: I'm not quite sure why the screenshot (#2) here shows a black background - the background in the PNG is transparent, as you can see when you click. The SVG version has no background.

v0.1 - Initial Upload
v0.2 - gladly obeyed Eric's suggestions from http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4835571
v0.3 - changed tilt to the right, firier colors
v0.4 - another correction of the rotation angle, minor corrections
For the "official" discussion of the icon see here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1968118&forum_id=22101
