flash on linux
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
here is how to get flash running under linux: first you need a running (maybe no trial-version) of flash on windows, then you simply open the .exe file with wine, this is how I made it. But on my machine the program was very unstable, and I couldn't produce anything, the drawing you see is just a opened file.
Here some information about my pc: 700 mhz amd duron, 196 mb ram.
I will keep this "forum" running, so if you have any experiencec with flash on linux, please share them with the community!

The INstaller doesnt work, so you have to install it on windows, and copy the entire Directory in your linux enviroment. You need 3 or 4 System DLLs too, check out the Crossover homepage for details.
BTW: Flash has nothing to do with kde! :)

(For the guy/gal who was to lazy to search on a searchengine: franksworld has links to it too, was it so difficult to click the link?)
The URL didn't work - while franksworld.net -> wine -> applicatinons -> flash mx did, and it brought me to the same url as the one you posted here. Weird.
Anyway, thanks a bunch! This is great!

- the trial thing, telling me that I have used 0 of the 30 days, while I was already passed 20 days (that started the pretty well ;-))
- i hit the "Try it" button, and than i exited :/
Alois: could you, on your site, put a howto for how to get flash to work using wine (or do you use winex?) and put your .wine/config on your site too?
