KWrite is a simple texteditor, with syntaxhighlighting, codefolding, dynamic word wrap and more, it's the lightweight version of Kate, providing more speed for minor tasks. It ships per default with KDEBASE package.

The current word-for-word spelling check feels like something from the stone-age.

as in:
$test array('one',
'two',
'three');
change to:
$test array('1' => 'one',
'2' => 'two',
'3' => 'three');
it would be nice to add the '1' => line as a block fill.
wondering if this functionality exists in any editor for kde.. kate, kedit, kwrite, quanta don't care which just would love the functionality.

included because it still supports
BiDi for all those strange languages.
Anyone else shouldn't use it anymore.
As soon as KWrite has full support
for writing text from right to left
or upside down or whatever it
will be kicked from KDE.
