Is there no way to change the view of the virtual desktop and taskbar? It looks really boring compared to the other stuff on the panel.

...as for the taskbar, unfortunately, I'm not familiar with anything. It'd be nice if there were an option to make it icon only, like OS X, but to my knowledge, there's currently no way to do that (natively, anyway).

the only cool osx type bars i've seen are ones designed using karamba. DynBar being the best. What Window Decoration are you using? Or maybe its a theme?
