Description:

iOS is the new theme that I am developing for Open SUSE Linux. iOS stands for interactive Open SUSE. The interactive part meaning that this theme is meant to be as "user friendly" as possible, and not sacrifice any usability, even if it means toning the look down. The theme is almost finished, I have a few more things left to package, and I am going to make some more alterations to the kickoff button. To answer any future posts, yes I will also be making an OS independent version of this theme without the SUSE branding.

-More icons!
-Started working on a custom icon theme for iOS based off of the Oxygen color scheme (just like everything else in iOS).
-Anyone willing to help out please contact me, icon themes are a pain to make from scratch.
-More icons!!! over 62 so far, I should be done with the fliesystem set in a couple weeks, and I hope to have finished the device icons by the end of the month.

I like the window decoration.

Nice to see a decent looking theme being developed for a distro, I hate every default KDE I've ever seen.

I think it'd look a little nicer with darker buttons. Keep up the good work.

It's nice to do theme for other Operating systems like *BSD and Solaris. But most important thing is that we get this theme for other Distributions too like for Mandriva or Kubuntu.

The theme looks great, but the window decorations, mainly the minimize, maximize, and close buttons, looks to winblowsish.

In as much as I have a great dislike for windows (actually Microsoft in general), it would be foolish to completely ignore a good design concept just because some software totalitarian uses it. The buttons are actually less like windows than plastic, lipstick, and the default SUSE buttons. Just because buttons have a square look does not mean that it is a windows knock off. The buttons were also made using the oxygen color scheme, as well as the background. (which I spent a few hours looking at the mac BG and trying to re-create that style using GIMP). All in all the only two things that I was directly influenced by when creating this theme was the default Mac BG, and Revaline's Launch Menu.

-ps this is after all a theme designed for ease of use, the red close button actually enhances the usability of the windows by drawing your attention to the most used button, and allowing for a visual reference and contrast to the rest of the window buttons.
