This is a graphical bootscreen for the GRUB boot loader in Debian design.
The download is a ready to use gzipped xpm image. Please refer to the GRUB Splash Image Howto (http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/~mcgrof/grub-images) for more detailed information on how to use it.
