Question: is the iconic version a Budgie-specific version?
(sorry, I know nothing about Budgie)
Thanks for all the work!

kind of, if you run mutter instead of metacity or xfwm, you will have the windows controls of the icon pack

Almost perfect theme, but I suggest a little tune of padding of text and icons inside the buttons (1-2px) because they take a bit more space, so would you please consider this?
For example if I use evolution under this theme, the switcher icons line wrapped in case I use eg. go, even ibm plex fonts as system font. Moreover, for instance, if you reduce the padding inside the buttons also affects the remaining space for content of the letter instead of mail header in the compose window. Thx.

(Marwaita 7.6.1 (2020-09-08) from archive here, GTK+ 3.24.22, mid-grey light theme preference, update from a version dated 31 July by timestamps on things) It's looking more and more like a flat theme now, which is a shame because it doesn't stand out from other themes as it once did. I miss the gradients. The dotted focus highlight for the current button is rather ugly compared to older Pop! OS and Manjaro editions. Highlighted treeview and Nautilus sidebar rows have reverted to a solid pale blue rather than a tablike marker colour or a solid grey. They now use a different pale blue to highlighted icons in Nautilus or highlighted text, and the difference between the two blues looks strange. Of the two designs, I prefer the ones with darker blue (with white text..) I don't like the dark title bar on the standard Marwaita theme, thank you for including alternative choices.

Great work, thanks a lot for sharing it with us. Anyway I don't use it yet on my Ubuntu 19.04 because of incompatibility with my very favorite file manager (Double Commander aka. doublecmd-gtk, installed through apt, not by snap or appimage). I don't understand what makes a dark theme work with this application or not but I see that Starlabs and Adwaita-dark are theming it perfectly. I don't know the difference with a theme like yours nor which files should be included or modified, sorry to be of no help. Do you think that this issue with Double Commander could be fixed? I would be glad to use this theme as I really like it. Here's a concrete example: Marwaita Dark > https://i.imgur.com/iPPeI5P.png StarLabs Dark > https://i.imgur.com/FGDgJHI.png I've posted a message on application's forum to get more informations about the files to customize but nobody answered for now > https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5769

5 okay - This theme works on higher resolution > 1366 x 768. On 1366 x 768, the veritcal height of wastes space. Staying with Lounge - compact for now.
