Description:

Ceres is a theme for traditional X11-desktops like MATE or Xfce that is inspired by many old non-flat themes.

The GTK2 theme is made to match the GTK3 theme as closely as possible by using only default gtk2 engines(pixbuf, mist, industrial) so no slowish murrine.
