What:KDE Plasma Splash Screen animation of the inside castle scene from Defender of the Crown on the Amiga released in 1986. The image was hand draw by the amazing Jim Sachs! It was jaw dropping then and still is today!

Resolution: The GIF is in 1920x1200 but animates on screen at 1280x1024. You can change the resolution to meet your needs by editing the file: CastleInside/contents/splash/Splash.qml file.

Test Drive: Open a terminal and type: ksplashqml --test --window CastleInside

Where: Copy the CastleInside folder to $HOME/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/

Settings: KDE System Settings --> Appearance --> Global Theme --> Splash Screen to set CastleInside
