Rotate Image Service menu
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
This is a feature which I long thought was missing in KDE, so I looked into it and its actually really easy to implement!
Extract this file into ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus (at least in RH8 thats where it goes), and you will be able to simply right click on a jpeg file in Konqueror to *losslessly* rotate it clockwise, or counter-clockwise. This can be useful if you have taken pictures with a digital camera both in a landscape and portrait orientation, and would like to rotate them for proper viewing on screen.
This requires the jpegtran program, which is normally part of the libjpeg package.
Mozilla will try to display the gzipped text file directly so just click on the link and save the file as rotateImage.desktop and put it in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus .

I didn't have a problem with the thumbnail refreshing, I am using Konqueror 3.1.3 from KDE 3.1.3.
Thanx again,

Also, as a side note, does anyway know how to force a refresh of thumbnails by konqueror? I've run into the problem, if I overwrite one image with another, that the thumbnail of the image doesn't change (it continues to show the old image, which could be completely different).
