Open Dolphin as Root
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
Open Dolphin as Root is a basic service menu for KDE4 and Dolphin 1.2.x which will create an Open as Root menu when right-clicking directories.
To install it, just copy the open_as_root.desktop file into ~/.kde/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus, where ~ is your home directory.
Tested in KDE 4.2 and Dolphin 1.2.1

Dolphin 2, KDE Development Platform 4.8.4 (4.8.4)
running inside Xfce4.8 on Debian 7.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
Dolphin still only offers:
1. exiting to Thunar
2. open dir as root
3. copy with Thunar
4. and then return to Dolphin.
I had hoped to use Dolphin instead of Krusader,
but might as well just use Thunar?
Is there another option to Copy as Root from within Dolphin 2?
regards.

Still learning the ropes.
Hopefully, one of the plugins will help.
Thanks. Sorry for the noise.
