Description:

I was thinking of a plasmoid that displays the appointments/tasks etc of the day directly on the desktop so that you can see todays tasks when you start the computer. As I am not a programmer I am not sure if this is possible at all. The screenshot is just a quick mockup to show how it could look like. Anybody some thoughts?

Unil now, KDEPIM is not yet ported to use the Akonadi framework. After then, there will be a dedicated interface for plasmoids to query KDEPIMs data.

Is it planned that Kontact will be ported with KDE 4.1? I didn't really get that from the website?
