Description:

This is a set of Plasma Widgets thoughts to be used in conjunction with Grouping Desktop (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?action=content&content=116926) to control and show information about songs played by Amarok and other players.
This set provides four Widgets:
-PlayWolf Cover shows the cover;
-PlayWolf Label shows the title, album name, artist and time;
-PlayWolf Button provids a button that can be configured to go back one song, forward one song, stop or play/pause;
-PlayWolf Slider shows a slider that can be used to seek the song.

Moving and putting the different widgets in different groups in various ways you can obtain every interface you can think of!

This is experimental, still, so do not expect it to be glitch-free, but it should work.

Yes that was my thought too. The color should be actually defined by the theme but somehow this doesn't work for your plasmoid here on my machine.

However the font color of other plasmoids is not always black. For example the workspace-switcher shows the name of the workspaces in gray (if configured to do so).

Setting it all up is a bit tricky because of bugs in Grouping Desktop, but after all is set up, it turns out to be a great plasmoid.

Some wishes for future releases:

* There is virtually no plasmoid around here showing something useful while cover is not available or Amarok is not running. Having an empty widget on desktop is rather unpleasant, so it would be nice to use custom image while no cover is available.

* When Amarok is not running, pressing "Play" button should start it and, if possible, play the first song in playlist.

The first problem you mention is just the cause why I use neither playwolf nor the built-in now-playing widget, but now-rocking (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Now+Rocking?content=106304), where you can have a custom picture (I use an Amarok icon as I usually don't use other players).

The widget crashes plasma upon reopening Amarok when it has previously exited while music is playing.
