For the conversion I used the program perl sd2xc-2.5.pl adds KDE4 Compatibility, and adjusts the individual pointer animations with GIMP and XMC plugin.

Very beautiful.

I'm not sure that there exist current other themes which will match or combine with it well, but I'll keep looking. Regardless whether I'm successful or not this cursor is something I want to use.
