Wonderful minimalistic cursors. Modern-looking, but with a piece of old-school.
Installation
Arch Linux
Just install xcursor-pixelfun package from AUR
Others
Unpack contents to /usr/share/icons or ~/.icons, then choose theme via your system's settings manager.

1. cd /path/to/unzipped/archive
2. sudo rm -r /usr/share/icons/default
3. sudo cp -r pixelfun3 /usr/share/icons/
4. sudo cp -r pixelfun3 /usr/share/icons/default
5. cd ~
6. mkdir .icons
7. ln -s /usr/share/icons/pixelfun3 .icons/default
8. Choose a mousetheme via sistem's settings
After all it would be better to reboot, and I think your problem will be solved
