First of all it's not my work. Like I wrote in the description the link was dead and I re-uploaded it.

for the smaller buttons:

open the gtkrc file and add at the beginning

gtk-icon-sizes = "gtk-button=16,16"

16,16 = 16x16 use any size you want (and your icon theme supports without blurring) - Apr 21 2008

Hmm, I made a small change to them in 1.6.0-devel but it's not like the scales. I'll have a look

By the way, making the main widget (frame, whatever...) the same way you have done the toolbar/menubar would be pretty good! Is it impossible? (degraded -metallic- colors, not just plain ones)

Weather

Conky by Whise 22 comments

go to weather.yahoo.com -> browse for U.S and international forecasts -> Continent -> Land -> City

in the address bar youll find something like "http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/GMXX0096.html"

then open the settings-dialog of the screenlet -> options -> weather and put that GMXX0096 (or whatever you have) into the ZIP-Textbox That's it - Apr 04 2008

Ok the Issue is that _MOTIF_WM_HINTS(_MOTIF_WM_HINTS) and _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_TOOLBAR seem to conflict.

But theres an easy workaround:

Andrea Vettorello told me this on the sawfish mailing list:

Quote:As a temporary hack, create a new "match windows" rule (Sawfish menu
-> Customize -> Matched Windows), use "^.*Screenlet\.py$" (without
quotes) as Name and select "Frame type" none under "Appearance", this
should remove decorations from all screenlets.

That solves the Issue. - Apr 04 2008

Quote:you really think someone will pay 10$ to get a compilation of icons already available with some ridiculous minor changes ??

Why not? We also waist our time reading comments like yours.

Quote:People produce stuff thousand times more valuable than what you did and don't try to have it commercialised.

Quote:I think you should have paid to get an account in gnome-look, you should also have paid to download Tango icons and all the other icon sets...I mean, these things are soo much more valuable that your 'wonderful artwork'

That's your opionion. But it doesn't make sense that you want to pay for the acc and tango while -at the same time- attacking him 'cause of the Donation thing. Furthermore there are already LGPL'ed Icon sets that are commercial.
