so this will replace the rectangle in the corner, with the ubuntu-like rounded rectangle in the corner? that's it? i mean, i want to be sure what i'm installing. sounds good, tho, i find the rectangles kind of ugly. - Aug 19 2010

you know, you don't need the backgrounds on the buttons, the images would work better, actually, with transparency. and the index.theme doesn't do anything unless there is at least a metacity, a gtk and an icon theme. really, a good idea, tho. :-) - Aug 18 2010

yeah, i had one from "minty-leaf" (what i based my retropixel theme on, that was 20mb, and i took it out, and it still works fine, so i'm guessing it's just a cache file, and not needed for distribution. - Aug 12 2010

well, it's fine, but putting brandings on your work means that people who don't use ubuntu can't use it. it makes it more open and usable, so you could leave it, but make an unbranded version for everyone who doesn't use ubuntu. - Aug 03 2010

i made a classic version, with the buttons like how the metacity is (except for the menu button; i just used green because i couldn't think of anything else ^^).

anyway, i noticed some odd deformities on the top left corner.
