the firefox problem i easily fixed,
put the userChrome.css file to
/home/USERNAME/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/chrome
and restart firefox.
the userCrhome.css file is located in the archive.. I will release an update today fixing some other bugs and I will try to fix the openoffice bug to that update as well :)

I use a window manager called "compiz fusion" to draw the screen so I get transparent panels , menues and windows if I want, but that tweaking program probably works just as good :)

yup!

I just modified your little fix a little , you probably didn't notice but there was a white line over the panel when I applied your fix, probably because you use smaller panel than me(probably only shows with 32px panel).

I will try to fix the button problem too but I have no clue how without breaking something else :)

If you figure it out pls let me know :D - Dec 18 2007

that messed up the panel for me in a weird way, but I figured out a way to get it to work without using the panelbg ( the panel backround pixmap) , anyway, thanks for your help!

I couldn't have figured it out without you!

I uploaded the new version with my changes, please let me know if they work for you. :) - Dec 18 2007

I'm pleased to hear you like my theme :D

firefox fix:
take the userChrome.css file included in the archive and copy it to
/home/USERNAME/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/chrome
where username stands for your username and the *. stands for a random series of numbers and letters and restart firefox.

Conky:
for the conky-file I wouldn't take much credit as I just took this conky http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/My+Conky+Config?content=62536
and modified the code a little, if you still want my modified file instead I will post it :D

I adjusted the color of everything that was cyan exactly the same amount, including the start button, you have to load it in gconf-editor from the path where it is ( /home/USERNAME/.themes/noname-25-blue/gtk-2.0/panel/bottom-panel-menu-button.png

as for the panel, i have run out of ideas but I'm constantly trying out new things.

btw, could you pls tell me about the pm function here on gnome-look (i'm pretty new here), so I don't know how it works.

I could make everything even darker blue if you want to. If I understand you correct you want the background colors of the windows to be the same thou? - Dec 07 2007

oh you ment that, sure I can change the colour of all pixmaps... that will take some time so I can't have it ready at once... as for the panel "backlight" i was thinking about making it completely new since i'm not completely happy with it (i'm never happy with anything, I sit around on my computer and every five minutes I have to change something :D) do you want the theme highlights to be darker and bluer or just bluer? - Dec 06 2007

Thank you for your lovely comment about my theme being ideal :D

the firefox problem is really not a problem with the theme (at least I think so) , but I will provide a fix for that once i figure it out.

as for the start button (lower left corner)

you first have to right click the panel you want to add it to and select "add to panel..." then scroll down to "main menu" click on it and click "add" then you see the menu icon in the panel, then you open the gconf-editor (do so by pressing alt + f2 and type gconf-editor) and in the gconf-editor click on "apps" then there scroll down until you se a folder named "panel" , then in the panel folder open the "objects" folder and there you search for an object type "menu-object" then select the "use_custom_icon" box, and in the value "custom_icon" you specify the path to the icon you want to use, in this case it would be /home/USERNAME/.themes/NoName/gtk-2.0/Panel/bottom-panel-menu-button.png
and that you should see the new icon in the panel :)...

As you said many don't like that big panel so ofc I will make a version with smaller panel....

Personally I prefer "galeon" instead of firefox (it is based on firefox) cause it integrates better with gnome and has a few very nice features, but ofc I will provide a fix for the firefox problem as soon as I have it.

if you want to try galeon and you use ubuntu the command to install it is:
sudo apt-get install galeon

Thanks. - Dec 05 2007

sry , at first I didn't notice but the button you have in the lower left corner is the "show desktop" button , not "main menu" so if you look at the lower right corner of my screenshots you see that mine looks exactly the same. - Dec 05 2007
NoName

GTK2 Themes by TheRob 79 comments

the button in the lower left corner I put in the /home/username/.themes/NoName/gtk-2.0/Panel , it's name is bottom-panel-menu-button.png , you can use the gconf-editor to change the main menu icon to it (use custom icon and specify the path and filename), If you don't succeed I can provide a more detailed eplanation (let me know).

as for the firefox problem i don't have a solution yet, i will provide a userchrome.css file that fixes that error as soon as i figure it out.

Thank you for your interest in my theme! :D - Dec 05 2007

sry to disappoint you but this is just gtk and metacity theme....
so you have to use the customize option.
the icon theme you see on the screenshot is the absolutely amazing "black-white"
you can dload it here:

so if I understand you correctly you have gotten the gtk and metacity theme to work? - Nov 30 2007

try to click "customize" in the theme manager and in controls there should be a theme called "NoName" and then i window borders there should be "NoName" as well...

if there isn't, try to extract the tar file to /usr/share/themes (do this as root) - Nov 29 2007
