The Groupbox line is broken in ksysguard kde3:

Also with the plain square setting the listview in gtk2 looks bad, could you make it look like the listviews in kde3/4?

before/after - Feb 26 2009
Qtcurve 0.61.3, the following settings show up as blank

Menus and Toolbars: Toolbars: Separators (previously set to none)
Sliders and Scrollbars:Scrollbar Thumbs (previously set to none)

QtCurve looks amazing now, thanks :) - Feb 25 2009
Can Popup Menu Background be allowed to go to -100% so the popups are darker than the background colour?

With the light theme i currently have it is set to 100% to make the popup menu background white. I wanted -100% for the black popup menu backgrounds of apps run as root which have a dark style. - Feb 18 2009
Is it possible to remove the 1px border inside listboxes which separate column headers and scrollbars from touching the edge?

Or kwrite and kate's text areas get a border so it matches the list box style? - Feb 16 2009
How about selected background thin border? - Feb 13 2009
Its the same in qt4 and qt3 here, don't have any tabbed gtk2 apps. It doesn't look like a bug.

Since you are viewing the current tab, the tab itself is inactive, clicking it doesn't do anything. Qtcurve only highlights active stuff. - Feb 12 2009
Does Slight Glow not work when the roundedness is set to square? - Feb 12 2009
What distro? for debian you need to install kdebase-workspace-dev then build qtcurve kde4, then remove it and install kdelibs4-dev then compile qtcurve kde3 and then remove kdelibs4-dev. Can't remember what was required to compile gtk2 - Feb 11 2009
screenshot of spacing in juk and dolphin:

a few px of space on either side would be nice, but more on the right than on the left if the scrollbar is on the right of the listbox, not that i know of any apps that do it on the left - Feb 11 2009
The inactive items in the menubar of gnomebaker:

Maybe it should look just like the others but slightly less black, so blended with base

Also when using scrollbars outside of listviews in dolphin they have different spacing on the left and right, and in kde3 apps they don't have any spacing. - Feb 11 2009
It happens with all themes in gnomebaker, very strange - Feb 11 2009
Is this a qtcurve bug?

Any chance of having handles - none in 0.6.1? there are some apps that can't lock the toolbars and i want to hide them, if it not possible then how about a single 1px line? of a custom colour? - Feb 10 2009
Look at the selected tab corner and the list dropdown's text colour, the list dropdown uses the button background colour but not the button text colour. - Feb 10 2009
Look at the selected tab corner and the list dropdown's text colour, the list dropdown uses the button background colour but not the button text colour. - Feb 10 2009
i noticed it when i edited /usr/share/themes/QtCurve/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:

style "qtcurve-menubar" = "qtcurve-default"
xthickness = 2
ythickness = 4 (previously 3)

I noticed that kde apps have an 1 less pixel of padding at the top than at the bottom, 3 on top and 4 on the bottom.

i prefer the 3 on top and 4 on the bottom, how can i make gtk apps use it?

Also oo looks bad, looks better with gnome than kde

Kubuntu user? maybe you need to add:

to ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals
- Feb 09 2009
Also to note;

gksu works fine and so does kdesu unless you have kdesudo installed. Uninstall kdesudo and it should be fine, at least thats what i have found - Feb 08 2009
in kde4 you have to disable the application of colour schemes to non kde apps to get rid of this issue, so i guess its the same for kde3 (i use kde4)

for kde4:

system settings > appearance > colours > options tab

uncheck Apply colours to non-kde4 applications.

for kde3:

kcontrol > Appearance and Themes > Colours:

uncheck Apply colours to non-kde applications.

Please say if it works or not, thanks - Feb 08 2009
Can you remove the selection rectangle from the buttons? - Feb 06 2009
Could you possibly add a different gradient for bottom tabs and the option to have the gradient for left tab mirrored on right tabs:

The tabs on the right would look better as a mirror of the left, the bottom tabs need a custom gradient

btw qtcurve looks amazing :) - Feb 01 2009
Its in KDE4, the kde3 configure dialogue is disabled - Jan 25 2009
Just out of curiosity does the font work if you set it with lxappearance or gtk-chtheme? - Jan 23 2009
Bug No 1:

System Settings > Styles > Configure > Mouse-over:

Coloration: No Coloration
Highlight by: -6% (negative value required)

-Click ok to exit
-then press configure to go back in
-go to Mouse-over

You will notice that the value has increased by one, opening and closing the dialogue over and over will make the value go to 0% but no change will be made to the appearance.

-Keep doing it until you get to 0%
-Now change a random setting (i chose Draw Status bar frames)
-press ok and the highlight by value of the drawn widgets now updates and the hover no longer darkens the widget

Possible Bug 2

Configuration > Tabs

Active tab appearance: Custom Gradient 3, Highlight and colour are unchecked.

The Colour option does not work, if i tick it and click ok there is no change in the appearance of the tab.

If i change the gradient to anything apart from inverted gradient the colour checkbox becomes disabled.

The colour checkbox is only checkable if the gradient is inverted gradient, unless i select another gradient, close the dialogue and open it again.

I hope this helps

** Also why is there no apply button?

it would make it so much easier to customise things - Jan 22 2009
But your screenshot is different, its set to fully rounded and you have square selection dialogues:
- Jan 09 2009
How can i make the selections square like in the screenshots you posted above?

Also in dolphin the grey (inactive/previous?) selection seems to square the way i wanted:

Is there a way to get square scroll bars? i have square input boxes with round scroll bars (konqueror and firefox)

Qtcurve: 0.60.0
KDE: 4.1.3
Distro: Debian Unstable - Jan 09 2009
interesting but why not rotatable gradients? gradients we have now but with an angle of rotation - Dec 28 2008
Is there any chance of custom colours in future versions? it seems as if the theme is moving towards using kde's colour palate rather than allowing for maximum customization.

The main annoyance is not being able to customise the default button tint colour and amount, mouse-over glow colour and list view header colours. I used a custom colour on sliders and scrollbars.

Just a thought, but i would really love it if i could use more colours, its too plain - Dec 28 2008
I can't seem to do a gradient like this, no matter how hard i try i end up with a flat black colour.

Would i be right in thinking its because of the lighter/darker way the gradients are made?

I also read about export KDE_SESSION_VERSION=4 so that qtcurve's settings from kde4 are used, but is there a way to make qtcurve use the colour scheme from kde4 as well? gtk2 themes already use the kde4 colours. - Oct 12 2008
Thanks, i really miss the old gradinet, any change you could add the new dull glass as dull glass 1 and add the old one from 0.49 as dull glass 2?

or just make it possible for the user modify the 4 colours that meke up the gradients, not just the menubar but all the gradients? - Jun 15 2007

I just reinstalled my desktop and installed my theme and it looks NOTHING like it did on my laptop, very strange, the colours are all wrong. One of my displays is terrible at displaying the colours properly.

I will look into this and upload a new one - Jul 21 2008

I installed that icon theme, but it crashes juk due to missing icons, i had to make new icons for juk, so i decided to colour it blue as well.

I coloured them one at a time, no script

Now i have to redo some other icons and it'll be finished - Dec 30 2007
I'll upload it when it gets a bit more finished, still lots of icons to redo, the home icon and all the coloured folder icons have to be done, i removed the dots from the folders too, it didn't look so good some app icons are finished also - Dec 29 2007

I tried the second download link and it told me this:

Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team.

The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire. - Dec 13 2007
