Yes, the new Oxygen colors have a warmer feeling without looking oldfashioned. And your port of the theme is as always high quality. Thank you! - Apr 09 2010
Wow, I really appreciate your speed and hard work! Kudos! - Apr 04 2010
Ooops, you're right. My fault! :-) Those who can read are in advantage.. *G* - Apr 02 2010
Unfortunally, KDE 4.4 has a modified Oxygen color scheme which is a combination of earth colors and turquoise. The old color scheme has been renamed to "Oxygen cold". So your browser theme no longer matches the default settings. Any plans for porting your scheme to the new colors (like you did with "Obsedian coast")?

The new colors can be seen on the original screen shots ( and in the color scheme settings in system settings. - Apr 02 2010
Hi, I've managed to fix the tab height in multi row tabs, see the screenshot:

You can find my fix as patch file here: - Mar 25 2010
Thx for trying! :-) - Mar 23 2010
Actually, your theme works quite well with Tab Mix Plus, the height of multi row tabs seems to be the only major issue.

Since multi row tabs is a common use case, could your theme eventually fix this? This would be awesome! :-) - Mar 23 2010
I use "Tab Mix Plus" to display the tabs in multiple rows if there are too many tabs for one row. Unfortuneally, this breaks your style: - Mar 12 2010
Wow, thx a lot! I am eagerly waiting for the next version of your theme to be released! :) - Mar 06 2010
That's "Pearl Crescent Page Saver Basic", a brilliant screenshot extension: - Mar 06 2010
Look at the camera icon: On the left side, it is positioned outside the dropdown. - Mar 05 2010
Ah, thx for the clarification! I'll notify the Tab Mix Plus developer! - Mar 05 2010
If an addon adds dropdowns to the status bar (like "Pearl Crescent Page Saver Basic"), they look oddly broken: - Mar 05 2010
Brilliant style! Unfortunally, this style breaks the appearance of the Tab Mix Plus settings dialogue:

Another issue: The menu hovers look odd: - Mar 05 2010

Hi, perfect work of yours!

Since build 4.2.87 of KDE 4.3, the Oxygen style has a new look for the tabs (see Could you please apply this look to the Oxygen-molecule style? - May 23 2009

Sorry, the addon update was not yet approved by the Mozilla team, it is still under review. It will appear on the same URL that now redirects to version 0.3.0. - Jan 30 2010
I'm currently working on exactly this feature for which I have ported PlasmaNotify from bash script to java (The bash script method of accessing dbus is somehow limited).

I also try to catch all types of Firefox notifications, not only finished downloads. - Jul 31 2009
This will be possible as soon as I switched to DBUS for communication with the VisualNotification system. ATM, I use kdialog which is rather limited.

But I plan to switch the communication method in one of the next releases. - Jun 14 2009
This can be fixed easily! Just convert the umlauts to HTML entities. - Jun 14 2009

The plasma theme is called "Air" and will be the default plasma theme for KDE 4.3 - Jun 12 2009
Thanks for your contribution! :-)

I will release an updated version this weekend. - Jun 12 2009
Until now, the plasma notifications only work with the default download notifications of firefox.

But good news: I am already working on a support for more notifications (including DownloadEmAll)! :-)

So stay tuned and subscribe to this page to be informed of future updates. - Jun 12 2009

Unfortunally, there is no real SVG version because I created the icons with the GIMP.

But I tried to reassamble them as SVG some time ago, it looks pretty similar. I added the SVG icon as content.

Ouch, you're right! I fixed it immediately, thx for pointing this out! - Oct 05 2009

Unfortunally, it's still broken. I tried to run you test command within the script folder, but it complains about an uninitialized key:

File "./", line 41, in main
if metadata['arturl'] :
KeyError: 'arturl'

I am working on a implementation of my own for a firefox extension. Have a look at the implementation, it works:

Maybe you see the differences - Sep 17 2009
The latest version seems broken, it fails to show a plasma notification and shows a plain notification instead:

Any fix for this? - Sep 16 2009
Smooth Tasks

The new multirow feature has one bug: If I enable min. two rows, the multirow feature works fine. If I enable 1-2 rows, the multirow never works even if the task row gets overfilled.

Another feature-request: Could there be an option to turn off the glow/shadows of the text in tasks and thumbnails? - Sep 05 2009
Boy, you are a genius! This is simply AWESOME! This plasmoid now beats the original task list in each and every way! I propose to use this as the new default task list in KDE 4.4! - Sep 05 2009
This is brilliant! The only thing i really miss is multiple rows when the first row of tasks is full (like the default tasks plasmoid has).

Can you add this as a feature request? - Sep 01 2009

I would appreciate the GUI-Changes, too. An option to hide the "post tweet" form in the main window would be cool, too. Together with an option to hide the menu bar (like Kopete has), it would make the GUI lean and clean.

I vote for this! :-) Any chances to help you herewith without beeing too deep into Qt coding? - Jul 12 2009

I looked into the SVG files and found the error: You linked PNG images in /home/victor/vista/crystal-1.0.7/pics/svg/ , a folder we naturally do not have on our harddrives! :) - Jun 25 2009

I just added your plasmoid (which used to work fine on KDE 4.2.x) to a KDE 4.3 controlbar and it seems badly broken:

Expanding tasks does not longer work and the whole plasmoid uses not the available free space but only as much as the current tasks take. This makes it literally impossible to use :(

Could you please fix the issues? - May 17 2009
When you have thumbnails in your tooltips with frequent animations, the tooltips blend away after a few milliseconds on hovering.

Tested with Firefox and a grouped Firefox download window while having an active download. Once the download was finished, the buggy behaviour was gone. - Mar 22 2009
With grouping, this is now near to perfect! Expecially the Windows7-like changing and closing function of the preview fills the preview-feature with sense (which was pretty useless until now in all task plasmoids).

I only would suggest to replace the current grouping icon with something more "sexy" or more simplistic. The current oxygen grouping icon (simplistic upwards arrow) would do much better IMHO. - Mar 21 2009

Wow, that was really quick!

Are you sure you updated not only the version number but also the file? KDE plasma theme updater shows no updates and a manually downloaded, extracted and copied archive still has the broken bars.

I appreciate your work very much, your Glassified theme makes KDE4 by far the most attractive GUI of any operating system so far! - Apr 13 2009

I upgraded to the latest version of your theme today and found the Disk Space applet broken, which worked perfectly before:

Could this be caused by your theme?

Andreas - Apr 13 2009
Your theme keeps getting better and better! Brilliant work...

Much better readability of content on transparent widgets now. :-) - Mar 08 2009
Stunning beautiful! If the transparent elements would blur the background, it would be absolutely brilliant! - Jan 24 2009
I opened the krunner widget and found the following, invalid reference:

Seems like you forgot something... ;-)

Great theme, I'm looking forward to the finished version! :) - Jan 10 2009

I compiled it successfully and made an RPM with checkinstall. But after installing the RPM, there is neither an icon in systemsettings, nor a service in services module of systemsettings.

I ran kcminit and even restarted KDE 4.1, but this did change nothing.
