Actually, the term 'owns' originates from LEET (1337 - a language created by Hackers that was once popular but now is... out of vogue :P). Basically, it means 'Beaten badly.' Really badly. But I've got only one thing to say about this wallpaper:

Would it be possible to make 2 seperate wallpapers, one for Debian and one for Gentoo? I'm a Gentoo fanatic myself, and wouldn't want people getting the wrong impression :P j/k - Oct 01 2004

I know 'looking glass' refers to a mirror, but you probably mean a magnifying glass. :) The english language is very confusing, I probably couldn't learn it if it wasn't my native tongue :P - Sep 30 2004

The only thing that I've noticed is that the folder icons are a nice blue, while the application icons are a light gray. I wish they were more blue :( Other than that, AWESOME JOB!!! - Sep 21 2004

Is it possible to get this without spamassasing tie-ins? It would probably be a lot of work, but I haven't gotten around to setting up spamassassin yet (I know, lazy me :P). I love ubermon, and this would make a great addition to my desktop! - Sep 17 2004

I had this same problem, so I figured I'd try my hand at karamba themes. It's actually pretty easy, and I came up with this (Replace the .theme file in the ubermon directory with this .theme file): http://www.cheyennesys.com/ubermon.theme. I also took out the XMMS controls, but I can put them back in if you want, and I replaced the KDE icon with the Tux icon. :) - Sep 16 2004

If you used some of the plugins in Script-Fu for making logos, you could make it alot better. As it is I like the concept, but it hurts my eyes :( - Sep 16 2004

The text on the bottom depends on the locale you have KDE set to. On my KDE installation, it displays perfectly fine in english. Download it and try it, and it shall work! Now I'm torn between this one and my custom made one... - Aug 30 2004

Well, I figured it out, I can't beleive I was being that stupid. I just had to set Firefox to use small buttons. Everything works and looks perfect now! Awesome theme! - Aug 27 2004
For some reason on my install (FireFox 0.93 on Linux) the buttons (Back, Forward, Refresh, Stop, Home) are bigger than they are in the screenshots. Is there any way I can make them smaller? Other than that this is a sweet theme that integrates very cleanly with my KDE desktop :) - Aug 27 2004

I hate to stoop to your level, but evolution is just as far fetched as someone surviving a week in a whales stomach, if not more! I have to thank the author for these offerings, even though they've been taken down. It's nice to see someone else out there of the same faith :) - Aug 27 2004

I love this thing! The only problem is that it doesn't ask me if I want to open the file from it's location (Not a real problem, but it still might be nice). - Aug 23 2004

A blue version of this would be awesome (Instead of green). My basic GIMP skills aren't good enough, unless I had the source file. - Aug 09 2004
