and yet another picture that CAN NOT be put under GPL.

If you want it even uglier, you can include some stripes of yellow, use only monospace fonts and throw in some pictures of dead animals.

Just a tip. - Mar 22 2005

What does it do? Did you add support for alpha transparancy? Is it both for Kde 3.3 and 3.4?

I just keep replying to myself, so those who don't want to read can just collapse the thread :)

I just finished a big album series where each chapter was in their own folder. When selecting "Open directory" to go to the next chapter, I noticed that qcomic does not remember the last folder I was in. Small thing, but bad if the files are buried deep in a file structure :)

Also, any reason the file requester is not like the rest of the KDE file requesters? - Jan 12 2005

I assumed it would be a bit hard. But yes, I also would be happy if you implemented that you are on the bottom of previous page if you scroll back.

Thanks again for a good program. - Jan 11 2005

I'm sorry, I should specify a bit. Using the mouse is very nice when reading, but if I'm at the bottom of the page, and scroll one tick too much, I'm on the next page before I finished the previous. If I scroll back one page, I am at the TOP of that page, not the bottom, meaning that ONE more scroll tick back would bring me yet another page back. Very easy to do by accident, and makes it a bit hard to navigate. - Jan 10 2005

Thank you, this is very nice.
But the file-requester is not QT?

Also, scrolling down to get to next page is nice, but is it hard to make it continous? so the previous picture is scrolled step-by-step away as the new one emerges? - Jan 10 2005

Now, this project was started in July. Makes you wonder why the Gnome guys are so slow implementing the same thing. Last time I looked, it was still half done.
Great work, thank you. - Dec 31 2004

Found out why. Domain seems to be on the same server as freedesktop.org, and freedesktop.org was broken into two days ago. - Nov 17 2004

I guess the logo will not be shown once the set is installed, but yes, I agree, the name Mengele has quite a bad meaning for most Europeans that know what happened during the war. - Sep 12 2004

Dolphin Service Menus by Cellardoor 27 comments

On my system (Arch Linux), the server is not killed with the above command. For some reason the ps list has a space as the first character, making cut find just a blank. Going for the second space fixes it though:
Exec=/bin/sh -c "X -screen TV :1 -ac & sleep 2; DISPLAY=:1 xine -f -g %U; ps ax|grep 'X -screen TV'|grep -v grep|cut -f 2 -d' '|xargs kill"

The "grep -v grep" is to stop it from finding itself :) - Sep 05 2004
