GTK2 Themes by esters 11 comments

The reason for the name 'Murrine Arch' is probably because he's using colors from the Arch linux logo.

At least it looks like those colors to me, I didn't load them into the gimp and test or anything. - Jan 25 2009

Wanted to say thanks for this gtk theme - it's killer.

Also wanted to let you know that I've created an openbox theme to compliment the GTK and was hoping to get permission to release it using the name 'Murreza', since it's based on this theme and you did come up with the original name.

you can find the screenshot here: - Dec 14 2008

This icon set has its controls set towards 'amazing'. A few icons are inconsistent with their perspective etc, but in general - amazing work. - Oct 11 2008

Beautiful wallpaper, but is there any way I could get it without the logo?

Don't get me wrong - the logo is good, and the wallpaper is still great with it - but...I use Arch >_>

Actually, I'm downloading MeoW now to see what I think.
Great work - keep it up. - Oct 12 2006

Great work - this theme is EXACTLY what I was looking for as far as GTK goes. Now I just need to get some icons and a good xfwm theme - Sep 07 2006

I have a similar problem to the one stated above - The colors of the overall theme revert back to KDE theme colors whenever I log out when I'd like to use the theme colors. I can unselect and reselect the "Use Theme colors" when I log in, but the setting should carry over. - Jun 25 2006

seems that some of the surfaces go red on highlight - seems a bit strange. Great themes, and great engine in general. Good job! - May 14 2006

Various Gnome Stuff by caminoix 26 comments

I will agree with this, but I believe that everyone should be able to post. Anonymous people's votes should count, but have less of an impact. Or maybe there should be two categories....General Public and registered members. I think that this would solve the idea that everyone should count, but those who don't care enough to login / register to leave feedback should be treated...differently. - May 14 2006

That's actually not a metacity theme. That's XFWM's default for XFCE4.3. There is a similar Metacity one though, but it is a bit wider, called "shiny tango" at - May 09 2006

Beautiful work. I love how subdued the overall look is. If you need some help with the GTK theme - let me know. I will be happy to help as much as I possibly can (which probably won't be much) - May 05 2006

Personally - I LOVE these icons, but they fit more my Windows setup than my Linux one (I use Enlightenment, but have KDE as well) Do you mind if I port these to .ico's and include a Windows-style Iconset? If not, I can send it back to you for further redist by you or, if you prefer, could redist them myself - proper credit given, of course.

Either way - GREAT job. I especially love the penguin.png! - Feb 21 2005
