In the first screenshot there are transparent menus, how did you get that? Also in the second the corners are more rounded than with what I get on my system....

Any ideas?

Beautiful theme BTW! - Dec 05 2005
Gentle Gnome mockup

Combine your efforts with the guy who uploaded the 'as I would like it' mockups:

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=31098
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=31113

You both seem to have common goals and similar paths and cool ideas. I really can't wait to see some of this mockup going into the actual desktop. Great stuff! :) - Nov 14 2005

Goes nicely with this theme. - Apr 05 2005
Orange Theme

Looks like he has the following for a font set up:

- app - futura hv bt 9
- desktop copprplgoth bdcn bt 13
- window futura hv bt 9

I think the icon set shown is an earlier version of 'edge', but I'm not sure.

My comments:

Great theme, thanks! Any chance of a firefox set up as well, it's fonts don't get the orange color, so it's black on grey, sadly quite unusable. Also the gtk theme seems a bit slow... resizing large windows things lag a bit, not much, but a bit.

Thanks for the nice desktop makeover! - Apr 05 2005

Great work, one comment I have though is that in Pan the task bars at the bottom (that move as files are downloaded or articles are loaded) don't really show up well as they blend too well into the background of it, without any real indication that there is a progress bar there, making this app look a bit odd.

Thanks! - Jan 20 2005

Well, if the number of fonts that are installed is too high then your window manager (gnome/kde) will take longer to load up. Suggestion is to just remove all but the "good" fonts and try to keep it under a couple of hundred :) - Aug 11 2004
